Gyula Pálffy grows his grapes on five-hectares on the south side of Fekete-hegy. His wines are aged in the cellar of his father, grandfather and made from organically cultivated grapes on the two sides of the Törökugrató-árok (dyke) in Köveskál. His approach is about naturalness and balance in grape-growing and winemaking. Since 2007 his wines have been spontaneously fermented in a careful, natural, traditional manner. Basalt soil, peace of mind and heaps of work characterize his style.
