Knob Creek 9 years Bourbon
Named for the childhood home of Abraham Lincoln, Knob Creek embodies the bold flavor that has made Kentucky famous for bourbon. Bottled a tan honest 100 proof, Knob Creek is aged for nine years in charred American white oak which lends this bourbon its maple sugar aroma, distinctive sweetness and rich, full-bodied flavor. Nose: Marmalade on toast: beautiful, sweet fruit, dash of soft rye and edge of saltiness.
Palate: Spicy, busy start: early arrival of cocoa but a playfully biting, taste-bud nipping character.
Finish: Loads of cocoa balances out vanilla. A dry, sllightly oily but magnificently long finish. |
