How do I get around?
Navigating around our site is very easy. Assuming you have a mouse and a reasonable sense of direction this quick tutorial should get you started. If you see text which is underlined (or becomes underlined when you move your mouse pointer over it) it means that you can click on the underlined letters and your browser will take you to that page. We call these things links. You can also jump around by clicking on some of the pictures. If your mouse pointer (that little arrow thing usually) changes to a hand then you can click on that picture and your browser will take you to the page that picture points to. Our pages are all laid out in a manner that makes it easier for you to find the things you want. At the top and on the left side of the page you will find navigation links. Clicking on these you can easily move around the site.
Shopping
On our site shopping is simple matter of taking the following steps:
1. Find the product you want to purchase
2. Adding that product to your shopping basket
3. Going to the checkout and selecting how you wish to pay and where you want us to send your purchase.
Finding a product
You can find a product by searching for it using the search box at the top of the screen. Just enter enough text to help is identify the product and then click on the 'Go' button. We'll give you a list of products that match your search criteria. You can also browse our pricelist or see a list of wines by Variety, Region, Wine Maker or Price.
Adding a product to your shopping basket
To add a product to your shopping basket all you need to do is enter the quantity you wish to purchase and then click on the 'Update my basket' button. You will get a confirmation message at the top of your screen telling you when your basket has been updated. To remove a product from the basket you can either;
1. put a zero (0) in the quantity field and then click on the 'Update my basket' button.
or
2. go to the shopping basket page and click the 'Remove' box next to the product you wish to delete then click on the 'Update my basket' button.
Checking out
To checkout you will need to go to the 'Checkout' page. If your browser supports SSL security then we will automatically take you to our secure checkout page. If your browser does not support SSL security then we would strongly recommend that you upgrade to a version that does for your own peace of mind.
At our checkout page you will be asked for your shipping details, that is where you want us to send this order. When you have entered those then click on the 'Proceed to Billing' button. Here you need to provide us with information on how you want us to bill you. You can also select a shipping method from our list of possible shipping methods.
When you have done all and you are happy to confirm your order then click on the 'Submit Order' button and your order will be transmitted to our online ordering facility. We will also send you a confirming e-mail message with your order number and order details.

Using the shopping cart
How do I add items to my cart?
There are several ways that you can add items to your shopping cart. On some screen you will find a button that you can click to add an item to your shopping cart. On other screens you will find a number of boxes where you can enter a quantity you wish to order. On these screens you can enter a quantity for more than one item if you wish to order multiple items. When you have selected the items you wish to add to your cart then you must click on the 'Update my basket' or 'Checkout' button to add the selected items to your cart.
How do I delete items from my cart?
From the 'View Basket' page you can delete an item by either entering 0 in the quantity or by selecting the 'Remove' checkbox and then clicking on the 'Update my basket' or 'Checkout' button to remove the selected items from your cart.
Why would I save my cart?
If you regularly purchase the same items then you can use a saved cart to save you valuable shopping time.
Do I need an account to use the saved carts?
Yes. Saved carts are only available if you have already opened an account.
How do I save my cart?
First you need to fill up your cart with the items that you would like to save. If you are not already logged in to your account then you must also log in to your account. Under the ‘Quick Cart’ you will see a link ‘Save my cart’ which you must click on. In the next screen you need to give you cart a name, like ‘My Weekly Shop’, and then click on the ‘Save my cart’ link.
How many saved carts may I have?
You can have as many saved carts as you like. Saved carts are available as long as your account is open. If you should ever need to close your account then your saved carts will be deleted.
Using the Favourit list
What is the Favourit list?
The wishlist is a place where you can save items that you would like to buy later.
Do I need an account to use the Favourit list?
Yes. Favourits are only available if you have already opened an account.
How do I use the Favourit?
If you are not already logged in to your account then you must first log in to your account. Next select the item that you wish to add to your wishlist ( usually by clicking the ‘more information’ link found on many screens ). On the detail screen you’ll find a button entitled ‘Add to favourits’. Just click on this button and the item will be automatically added to your favourit list.
How many favourits may I have?
There is only one favourits but you may store as many items on the list as you like.
How do I move items from my favourit list to my cart?
If you are not already logged in to your account then you must first log in to your account. Under the ‘My detailes’ you will see a link ‘Favourits list’ which you must click on. On the next screen you will see the items that are saved to your list. By clicking on the box next to each item you can choose the items you wish to move to your cart. When you have done just click on the ‘Move to my cart’ link to move the items from your wishlist to your shopping cart.
Prices
Prices indicated on our site on the left side are full, bottle prizes. On the left are the discounted case prices. When buying 12 bottles or more ( can be mixed ) the discounted case prices are valid. Prices are inclusive of V.A.T. The currency is HUF (Hungarian Forint)
For our regular customers, members of the Bortársaság Klub, these are the prices even for smaller purchases at the Bortársaság wine shop and on the internet as well. Just fill in the membership number field when registrating.
