Chateau De Fonbel 2009 Saint Emilion

One of the distinctive wines from the drier, hillier, warmer sites of the right bank (St. Emilion and Pomerol) that lies further away from the ocean. Deep, youthful colour, very clean, rich nose that is full of black fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant) and spices. 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet, 7% Petit Verdot and 3% Carmenere, as given as the proportion of the grapes by the chateau.
