Pannonhalmi Infusio 2009

Engaging aromas of nougat, coffee, sour cherry-cognac bonbon, plus a little punch. The taste is rich, but not overwhelming with blackberry, blueberry and noble oak notes. It's powerful and a little oaky right now, but young and full of promise. It's two-thirds Merlot, one-third Cabernet Franc, and comes from a beautiful vintage. It will be at its most beautiful in winter, but be warned - it might not last until then.
