Takler Bartina Cuvée 2006
| 2006 brought a new wine (as well) at the Taklers. It is a blending of 35% kékfrankos, 30% cabernet franc and 30% merlot, its name refers to that Béla IV's absolutely understandable request, whereas "he would like to drink", distorted to almost meaningless ("bartina") by the time it achieved the addressee through a whole series of dependants. Deep sour cherry colour and deep aroma, there are raspberry and vanilla in it. Tasting it this wine is a little bit young now, in its aromas red berries return with the energy of kékfrankos and sharp tannins. It is the sharper and more masculine face of the vintage. |
