Weninger Kékfrankos 2008
Explosive nose and palate with notes of dried forest fruits, cherry and medicinal herbs. Well-balanced tannins, delicious acids, complexity and a long finish. Harvested from 12-40-year-old vines. Grapes were hand harvested, gravity processed, fermented naturally and aged in barrels, together with the grapes from the Balf vineyards. Unfiltered and unfined with as little sulphur as the wine needs. The last member from the transition to biodynamic winemaking.
