Weninger Merlot 2009

The Balfi winery started to change over to biodynamic winemaking in 2006. The 2009 Merlot is a big step: this is their first wine that is officially certified as biodynamic. The winery is in the brace of a transformation in which the main emphasis will be on the Frettner and the Spern Steiner vineyards. Taste the results!

Very spicy, mineral, fresh nose with raspberry and oak. Medium-bodied, juicy, rich and refreshing taste. Manifold and elegant, long and mineral finish.
