The favourable weather in 2006 made it possible for a vintage Brut Millésime to be made at the Reims champagne house. The base wine was made from grapes that come from grand and premier cru plots, and was blended from 59% Pinot Noir and 39% Chardonnay. The blending was followed by malolactic fermentation, then 8 years of ageing in magnum bottles. Flowers and fruits on the nose, then white-fleshed peach and apricot appear on the palate with a salty character in the background. Its texture is silky and creamy. An elegant and rich champagne.
