The house’s first prestige Blanc de Blancs was made in 1959. It’s a 100% grand cru Chardonnay from the vineyards of Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. Aged for nine years, it’s become a refined, round and layered champagne. Ripe peach, citrus aromas, toasty notes in the background, and a slight flint scent. On the beautifully structured palate, the acidity is in lovely balance with the fruit. Dried apricot and brioche on the finish.
