Due to the extreme conditions of the 2015 vintage in Champagne, and the later than usual harvest, this champagne is fuller-bodied and richer than the house's previous releases. Along with the Pinot Noir harvested from areas near Hautvillers, Chardonnay grapes were used, which, in order to achieve the characteristic layers and complexity of the house, spent nearly 10 years on the lees. The nose features eucalyptus, vetiver and orange blossom, while the palate reveals white-fleshed peach, Mirabelle plum and toasted seeds, with a distinctive salty finish.
