“It was one of the most beautifully ripened sets of fruit of the past 10 years,” says Raphaël Bérêche, as he pours the 2019 vintage of Campania Remensis. The area next to the village of Ormes, from where the grapes were harvested for this selection, has a total of 3 hectares and has been owned by the Bérêche family since 1955. The base of this pale rosé champagne is 75% Pinot Noir, with 25% Chardonnay. The spontaneous barrel-fermented base wine is coloured by 5% of red wine, while the second fermentation in the bottle was followed by three years of ageing. Richness and depth, the complexity of the world's most popular white wines, accompanied by red berries, dried flowers and spices. The Bérêche family has been making this wine every vintage since 2009. A total of 5,400 bottles were made from the 10th vintage, out of which 24 have reached the Hungarian market. A fine wine.
