The quintessence of the Charles Heidsieck style. There are three defining numbers behind its richness in detail: 60-40-10. The house blends Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from 60 chosen crus in equal proportions. The proportion of réserve wines that provide the complexity is 40%, and the average age of these wines is 10 years. The ageing is at least three years but it can also be six years long. Deep gold colour, lively and lingering bubbles. It is characterized by sophisticated harmony and incredible complexity, brioche, toast and fruit: mango, apricot and plum. Dried fruit, pistachio and almond make it even richer. It has a velvety texture, and after the aromas of brittle (confection) and bakery, fruits, praline and vanilla enhance the experience.
