An exciting year with cool and hot periods; optimal conditions. Beside the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir harvested from 15 crus, the proportion of added red wine is eight per cent. It was aged for eight years and rested for nine months after disgorging. A fresh, deep and serious – almost wine-like – Champagne. Pink colour with amber tints, discreet mousse. A pronouncedly perfumed, complex, powerful rosé. Strawberry jam, candied fruit and sweet spices – cinnamon, cardamom, honey and pralines. Silkily mild texture, fig, pine seed, cake and plum aromas. Sour cherry, rose pepper and fresh fig on the round finish.
