A newcomer from the smallest champagne estate of our selection. 'Les Terres Melées' is a Blanc de Noirs, made from 100% Pinot Noir that came from two parcels (Les Mees, Val Ligé), from 2019. 60% of the spontaneous fermentation took place in used Burgundy barrels, and a smaller part in tanks. At Bichery, malolactic fermentation typically takes place during the spontaneous fermentation, thus enhancing the already creamy, deep structure of the wines. After several months of ageing on the lees, the base wines were bottled for the second fermentation without filtering or fining. A selected, small batch rarity. It was disgorged in March 2022, with zero dosage. 1,688 bottles were made of it.
