The Egly-Ouriet style is unique and differs from the usual: Pinot Noir emphasis, picking at complete ripeness, a high proportion of oak use and long ageing all add to the wine’s full and rich structure. The bubbles are usually restrained, the experience is concentrated, powerful and vinous.
