The Chardonnay grapes that serve as the base for this vintage champagne are harvested exclusively from the 0.4-hectare plot of the premier cru-certified village of Villers Allerand. The base wine is aged in oak barrels for 9 months, then in bottles for a minimum of 36 months on lees. A dosage of 1 gram was added during disgorging, in order to highlight its complexity, elegance, creaminess and minerality. The limited edition consists of only 1,600 bottles. It’s a harmonious champagne with a mature, toasty nose, and pear, citrus and fine barrel spices on the palate.
