Having no heirs, the Leclerc house and the remaining family estate was purchased by Mark Nunnelly and Denise Dupré, an American-French couple in love with winemaking, who then continued to work in the house’s original spirit, with the help of winemaker of the house, Hervé Jestin, who put biodynamic methods into practice. Beside the estate’s best-known wine, the Brut Réserve, our big favourite is now the premier cru, which has the extra twist of mature flavours, citrusiness and a long palate, alongside the salty and mineral character. 70% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier, 15% Chardonnay.
