Single-vintage champagnes are only made in the best vintages at the Piper-Heidsick house. The fruit of the premier and grand cru vineyards is selected, with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blended in almost equal proportions, with long ageing of 5 years on the lees. A play of exotic fruits both on the nose and the palate, fresh, citrusy notes, elegant yeastiness and a slight salty aftertaste.
