It's sophisticated and elegant – the embodiment of the Pol Roger style. The three grape varieties – Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay – blended in an equal share, to which 25% reserve wine was added. Aged on lees for four years. Fruity (pear, mango) and floral aromas on the nose, accompanied by brioche and a touch of vanilla. It’s a fresh and zesty champagne that is also complex, with great balance and a good spine. Ripe fruits, quince and apricot define the palate with a bit of acacia honey. The finish is enriched by tangerine and candied orange peel, plus sweet spices.
