The dominance of Pinot Noir (50%), the 10% proportion of wines vinified in oak barrels and the long-term ageing on the lees give its strength and richness of aromas. The 30% Chardonnay lends elegance and sophistication to the wine, while the Pinot Meunier brings an exciting spiciness to the blend. The nose is taut, energetic and citrusy, with fruity, pastry aromas, and a mineral palate. This champagne has a complex and elegant structure, bearing the notes of barrel ageing, roasted coffee and toasted aromas.
