“Salt of the earth” – the English phrase has become Robert Gilvesy's motto and, in addition to its original meaning, it also rhymes with the delicately salty character appearing in his wines. This mineral is what makes this traditional method sparkling wine so unique. We definitely placed it at the dry and lean end of the scale, a great experience for those who are looking for originality in sparkling wines as well. Its base wine is made from 100% Furmint, from organic grapes grown on Szent György-hegy, from an uncomplicated and exceptional vintage. The spontaneously fermented base wine was aged in the bottle for 40 months after the second fermentation.
