A Furmint-based sparkling wine made via the Charmat (tank) method, blended with a touch of Olaszrizling, from the Laposa family’s newly-built cellar, from the foot of Badacsony Hill. Shiny yellow colour with greenish tints and tonnes of tiny bubbles. Green apple, lime, citrus fruit, a waxy-minty character, with minerality also appearing with time. Really delicious acidity, dry palate, refreshing feel, millions of tiny bubbles. Apple and pomelo on the palate, lime and slightly salty minerality on the very long finish. After a few minutes and a few sips – quince and medlar notes, reminiscent of Furmint, also appear.
