On the Kreinbacher estate at the foot of Somló Hill, the first bottles were laid down in 2014 to start the complex and risky process of second fermentation in the bottle, or the traditional method, as it is also known. The 9 years that have passed since then are a real success story, with the estate producing world-class traditional method sparkling wines reliably and in a large quantity. They blend Furmint using good sense with the varieties that are proven in Champagne, and they wait long and patiently until disgorging. In connection to bottle sizes, they boldly use larger formats, in which it is known that traditional method sparkling wines mature more slowly, but all the more beautifully and deliciously. From Kreinbacher's Magnum selection, the citrusy and endlessly balanced Brut Classic, with its delicious and long mousse, is now in its best form.
