Up until now, no magnums have been made of the cellar's Brut Nature sparkling wine – this newcomer is being introduced with the 2019 vintage. The team was driven by professional curiosity: how the magnum effect manifests itself when it is accompanied with zero dosage. The wine is made up of 33% Furmint, 33% Chardonnay, complemented with 24% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Blanc, spending about three years on the lees. The palate is pristinely pure, with white flowers, stone fruits, almond sweetness and a salty, mineral aftertaste. It is characterised by zestiness, precision and complexity.
The new magnum stands out of the crowd, its appearance is quite extreme, combining the classically elegant world of traditional method sparkling wine with street art. Each bottle is individually handcrafted, no two bottles are alike. A small batch, with all bottles numbered.
