The Sauska Brut’s one-and-a-half litre bottle is in its best shape now, and even after the more than two years of ageing, it’s fresh, cooling, rich in flavour and precise. Beside a darker yellow colour, it has wild flower and toasted seed aromas on the nose, then juicy pear and quince on the palate. The Chardonnay, Furmint and Hárslevelű base was blended from five Tokaj vineyards.
