‘Bandarossa’, or ‘red ribbon’, is a tribute to the founder, Giuliano Bortolomiol. It was his habit to mark the best extra dry batches with a red mark and set them aside for his dearest friends. The classic of the house is now available to a wide range of people, yet it remains a small batch release. Being blended from 20 different parcels, it accounts for only 5% of the estate's production. The keeping on the lees and the secondary fermentation takes longer than usual, and the outcome reveals more maturity. It has an intense, rich and seductive nose with hints of yellow apple, orange peel and almond blossom. The palate is thick, creamy, with well-integrated bubbles.
