The Senior was the first. The name signifies not only the past but also status – this is the Prosecco with which everything began for the Bortolomiol family in Valdobbiadene. Since then, they have produced Prosecco in several styles, but Senior has retained its classic role: an Extra Dry category wine with elegance and substance. 
The limestone soils of the hillsides and hand harvesting provide the foundation. On the nose, it exudes ripe peach, melon, white flowers and a touch of honey. The palate is full yet fresh, with lively acidity balancing the residual sugar. A beautifully composed wine with a creamy mousse and a silky finish.
The ‘II’ marking on the bottle indicates that among Bortolomiol’s classic styles, this is the second driest, but Senior will always come first when it comes to characterful, well-balanced Prosecco.
