Pietra Fine, meaning ‘fine stone’ – a fitting name for a Prosecco that doesn’t follow the usual light, frothy style. It comes from the steep, limestone slopes on the northern edge of the Asolo DOCG, made from 100% Glera, organically cultivated. The grapes are hand-harvested and selected, then vinification begins with 24 hours of cold maceration.

Emilio Pozzobon founded his estate where his father and grandfather used to work as day labourers. At the Case Paolin family estate, the grapes have been cultivated organically from early on. They work on 20 hectares by the River Piave, and make Proseccos and complex reds from the vineyards of different characters.
