The high plateau of DO Utiel-Requena is located 70 km west of Valencia, along the River Magro. This is one of Spain’s most dynamic wine regions, where the Dominio de la Vega estate was founded through the collaboration of three winemaking families, with roots going back 400 years. This sparkling wine was one of our favourites during our Cava tasting, with its unique arched label, lightweight bottle, fine details, classic Cava characteristics and endlessly refreshing flavours. The entry-level price tag is just an added bonus.

After manual harvesting and selection, the grapes are vinified in a gravity-fed winery, where only free-run juice is used for the Cava. The estate’s organic Cavas are bottled without malolactic fermentation, with low sulphur and minimal natural sugar content, undergoing 18 months of bottle ageing before being released. Bursting with flavours, 100% Macabeo, 12 months of ageing and fine bubbles. A new addition to our Cava selection.
