The Classic Cuvee of Nyetimber is a blend of the three traditional Champagne varieties, with the emphasis on Chardonnay. The base is given by the exceptional 2018 vintage. It was put onto the market after 3 years of bottle ageing. On the subtle mousse the tiny bubbles almost melt in the mouth. The nose is spicy and lively with honeysuckle and lemon cake notes. It has a strikingly polished, elegant acid structure, complete with a touch of tannin. The balance is impeccable and the finish is long. It is no coincidence that it has been ranked among the narrow elite of the best English sparkling wines for years. Also, as many tastings have already proven: traditional method sparkling wine ripens more beautifully in a magnum bottle.
