Botanist Domenico Ulrich founded the company in 1854. The Italian distillery was one of the first to start processing aromatic herbs on an industrial scale and soon became one of the leading companies in the sector.
It’s a clean, elegant vermouth with a vibrant and rich character, dominated by the pleasant bitterness characteristic of china wood and hyssop. This vermouth has an intense, deep amber hue and silky tannins, which were made richer and more balanced by six months of ageing in wooden barrels.
The Ulrich Rosso Vermouth di Torino is a traditional Italian vermouth that bears the Vermouth di Torino protected designation of origin (IGP – Indicazione Geografica Protetta). The drink is made in the Piedmont region, which is famous for its high-quality vermouths.
