“The Hárslevelű kept okay until mid-September. The Furmint didn’t bear the heavy rain and cool that well. As the grapes held on, we were not supposed to give up either. True, there were hardly 1,000 bottles made, but I’m happy I made them. It required two to three rounds of selection and persistence. Nothing has changed in terms of the technology, and I continue to have no place for it. Besides in the winery, we also worked a lot with the Gigerli. It’s important to have places where people can get a nice glass of wine or coffee at any time, in Erdőbénye as well. Foreign feedback is also getting better and I already have wines in some serious Michelin-star restaurants. The sommeliers give my wines to one another, and that is a great feeling.”
