The Agárdi Aged Plum is made from the special harvest of the Penyige plum, which, with its sweet taste and high sugar content, is excellent for making jam, dried fruit or pálinka. The Agárdi distillery chose the latter. Freshly made oak barrels were used for the ageing, with the emphasis on floral and cinnamon-spicy notes. The resulting pálinka is rich and intensely aromatic, with a full flavour and a golden-yellow colour, providing a uniquely characteristic experience.
