This unique Irish single malt from Bushmills is aged for 19 years in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, followed by an additional two years in Madeira fortified wine barrels. This lengthy ageing process imparts rich, deep flavours to the whiskey, complemented by the mature fruity and raisin notes from the Portuguese fortified wine barrels. The flavour profile is dominated by dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla and toasted walnut, accompanied by smoky oak and slight charred notes. Aromatically, it reveals fresh honey, summer fruits and sweet hazelnut, creating a truly aromatic experience.
