Named after the legendary Irish pirate queen Grace O'Malley, who was also known as Granuaile, this brand is renowned for its high malt content, reaching up to 46% in its blended whiskeys. Irish-blended Irish whiskey crafted from some of the finest Irish grain whiskeys. The ageing is carried out in a combination of new American oak barrels and ex-bourbon casks, imparting a distinctive, smooth and complex character on the whiskey. Caramel, vanilla and subtle oaky notes on the nose. The palate reveals a rich, silky texture with sweet flavours of honey and vanilla, complemented by a touch of spice.
