An exciting blended Irish whiskey by the Boann Distillery, made from 20% malt and 80% grain whiskey. Its uniqueness is given by the NEOC (New Era Oak Cask) cognac barrels, which undergo a complete renewal (they are stripped down to staves, polished and then burnt again). Thanks to the process, they are even better able to extract the spices in the oak barrels and the candied fruit characters left from the cognac. Before ageing, the spirit is distilled three times, then placed in ex-bourbon barrels for 3-4 years, which is finished with an additional 1 year of ageing in VSOP cognac barrels.

It’s a fresh and energetic whiskey on the nose, with forest fruits, citrus and mild spicy notes, blackberry, green apple, dried orange and some dark chocolate on the palate.
