They soak the skins of pineapples in the white rum for a week, then distil it further. The fruit itself is added to the Plantation Original Dark Rum and aged for three months. At the end, they blend the two rums, followed by another three months of barrel ageing. Intense but not exaggerated pineapple, citrus and smokiness on the nose that is in perfect harmony with the palate, with a touch of vanilla on the finish of the long palate.
