The constant favourite from the foot of the Andes, from Aurelio Montes’ Argentinian estate. The raw material of one of Kaiken’s entry-level wines grows at almost 1,000 metres above sea level, and the intense aromas for which the variety is loved are thanks to the great temperature fluctuations. Half of it was aged in tanks, the other half in French barrels for 8 months.
Chilean success in Argentina. The pioneer of Chilean quality winemaking, Viña Montes, started its Kaiken winery in neighbouring Argentina based on Malbec. Today, they work on three estates within the Mendoza wine region, their vineyards lie in the best regions, their wines focus on terroir.
