The hand-harvested grapes come from 80-year-old vines, from a height of 800 metres above sea level. The wine was fermented in tanks, then aged in new and used French barrels for 12 months. It has a deep ruby colour, varietal Cabernet Sauvignon aromas of black berry fruits, a touch of red pepper, tobacco and vanilla. The medium-bodied palate has more restrained oak notes, refreshing acids and red berry fruits.
