In 2019, exceptional grapes were harvested from more than 100 parcels of Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, which constitute one of the decade’s best vintages. On the slopes of the Andes, between the altitudes of 1,070 and 1,250 meters above sea level, 20- to 80-year-old, mostly old-vine plantations can be found. The aromas of the wine, which was aged for a year in new and used oak barrels, are intense and complex, while the palate is juicy and dynamic. The barrel’s toasty aromas are completed by red and black berry fruit, cherry and plum.
High-altitude wines from the Andes, from 1,000 metres above sea level. Lots of terraces, little rain, rocky soil. Warm daytime, cold nights. In the Argentinian winery that belongs to the LVMH Group, deep and substantial wines are created from the extreme conditions.
