The grapes for this Malbec come from terraces that are located at a height of 1,067 metres, at the foot of the Cordon de Plata ridge of the Andes. The vines are nurtured by the glacier water that run down from the peaks. It starts with restrained aromas of ripe red berry fruit, dried sour cherry, violet, tobacco and chocolate. A full-bodied wine in which the high alcohol is in nice balance with the tannins and the acids. A long, fruity aftertaste.
High-altitude wines from the Andes, from 1,000 metres above sea level. Lots of terraces, little rain, rocky soil. Warm daytime, cold nights. In the Argentinian winery that belongs to the LVMH Group, deep and substantial wines are created from the extreme conditions.
