Bin 28 is a warm Australian Shiraz that was first made in 1959, making it the oldest wine of the Bin series. A blend of several vineyards, it is characterized by a rich, captivating nose and palate, and it reflects the climate of the Barossa Valley very well. It is abundant in plum and blackberry notes, which enrich the wine with an almost dried-fruit, jam-like character. Sweet spices such as cinnamon, star anise, cloves and chocolate are also dominant. The tannins are subtly sticky, and in perfect balance with the acidity and ripe fruit. The palate is mouth-filling, powerful and robust.
