This everyday red wine pays tribute to the German-speaking winegrowers of the Sopron region – the so-called ponzichter, like Franz’s ancestors. It is a light, easygoing red made from grapes selected on both sides of the border (Syrah and Zweigelt), blended from multiple vintages. Whole bunches left in the fermenting vat add freshness and a looser structure. Lively, pure and precise, full of fruit and easy to drink.

Hand-harvested and hand-sorted, with spontaneous fermentation using whole bunches. Aged in well-preserved, 40-year-old, large oak barrels, then bottled unfiltered and unfined on site at the winery. Bottled in July 2025.
