The Colchagua Valley, where Viña Montes played a pioneering role in the foundation of production, is one of Chile’s most internationally-acknowledged wine regions. It is located in central Chile, less than two hours’ drive from the capital, Santiago. Here, the four most successful varieties of the estate – Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Carmenère and Tempranillo grow, mostly on granite subsoil. The blend of these varieties is the Twins, which comes with New World intensity, ripe fig and blackcurrant on the nose, sweet spices and blueberry on the palate. 

Half of the batch was aged in new and used French barrels for 12 months.
