This estate in the heart of Beaujolais has been nurtured by Alain Chambard, a fourth-generation winemaker. Founded in 1993, the 10-hectare vineyard is home to old Gamay vines. Alain is a sustainability advocate, handpicking every bunch to ensure only the finest grapes make it to the cellar. He follows a minimal-intervention approach to winemaking. Chambard’s most renowned wine, the Beaujolais Nouveau Vieilles Vignes, is vibrant and approachable. The nose and palate feature characteristic banana notes complemented by fresh strawberry and raspberry. Light, easy-drinking, full-bodied and thirst-quenching, this is quintessential Beaujolais Nouveau.
