Bearing the name of the house, the iconic red wine of Château Angelus comes with Premier Grand Cru Classé classification. Based on the reports, 2016 was an excellent vintage in Bordeaux, and according to some it can even be called legendary, which is already confirmed by the nose of the wine itself: concentrated aromas of black cherry, orange peel, raspberry, while the appearance is appealing. Fine tannin structure, elegant acids, compact flavours on the palate with blueberries and blackberries, a little black pepper and an endlessly long finish. An extraordinary wine with serious ageing potential.
