2014 was characterised by an exceptional Indian summer that saved the vintage. The challenging summer conditions slowed down the ripening, but luckily September was dry and exceptionally sunny, often with temperatures of above 30 degrees Celcius. The great daytime weather accompanied by the cooler temperatures at night made the fabulous and perfect ripening of the grapes possible. The 50% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc blend is a real fruit basket with blackberry, blueberry, redcurrant, violet and spicy aromas, a velvety texture and subtle tannins.
