The name ‘Petit’ should not mislead anyone – this is one of the most serious bottles in the world of wine. It is traditionally fermented and aged in oak barrels. The grapes come from the same exceptional area as its big brother, only from younger vines. The wine is juicy, powerful and full-bodied with ripe tannins, good acidity, very nice oak use, lots of black berry fruits, fine smoky notes and sweet spices.
