Of the 61 châteaux classified in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, 31 Grand Cru Classé estates come from Margaux, which is the highest number of any appellation in Bordeaux. Château Palmer is a leading Margaux estate, cultivated biodynamically across 66 hectares, close to the legendary Château Margaux. Everything we look for in a great Bordeaux is already present in the second wine, at a far more accessible price than the estate’s flagship bottling. In the challenging 2021 vintage, the blend is composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot. Notes of plum, blackberry, olive and dried flowers, with elegant oak use and a long, lingering finish.
